
Spent the weekend with my best friend.
She has been on a vegan diet for 29 days now.
She was once the most close-minded person towards such ideas. In fact, I was vegetarian for the better part of a year with nothing but shit from her. Made it tough to find a reason to do something with the best friend you have beating you down for it.
Now she has found her reason to do such a thing, to be a better human.
That’s the best goddamn reason I have ever heard and it has put me back on the vegetarian path. Organic, clean and essential eating, not simple food consumption.
Become more conscious about what you eat, and become a better human being. I am not saying everyone should be vegetarian or vegan, there are perfectly good ways to maintain a healthy diet without cutting some things out but know what you are eating.There are more websites on food health than I alone can count, research what you eat. As a race we can be better.
